Simple repairs can often be completed within an hour. More complex repairs requiring impressions are usually completed the same day.
Repairs may be more complex if the denture is missing pieces, has been crushed, previously repaired at home, or has become very thin or worn.
Each denture is assessed individually and the best option explained clearly.
What to expect
Most patients will need to attend four or five appointments to have their dentures completed. It is normal to require between one and three adjustments during the first few weeks as you become used to eating with your new teeth.
If you require new dentures for a specific event, please book at least six weeks in advance so that you are out of the adjustment period and comfortable on the day.
Appointments may be booked close together if you are in a hurry. However, stages are never skipped to complete the job faster. Each clinical stage requires time for laboratory processing before moving to the next. Accuracy is of utmost importance to ensure you receive a quality product.
We are flexible with appointment times and will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
Adjustment period
If you need dentures for a special occasion, allowing at least six weeks ensures you are comfortably through the adjustment period.
Appointments can be booked closer together if needed, but essential stages are never skipped.
